Please Note: As you have probably noticed, I've used the word Real Estate Representative instead of Real Estate Agent when referring to myself. Although Real Estate Agent is the common word used in identifying Sales Representatives in public it is incorrectly used. As per the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), who regulates the activity of trading in real estate in the public interest, does not allow Sales Representative to identify himself/herself as Real Estate Agent. The Real Estate Agent is the Brokerage and individual registrants are not 'agents'. Now I hope if you check a business card of a Sales Representative, hopefully mine, you will understand why it does not say I am Real Estate Agent.
